given a scenerio.when an waiter steps up to them n says 'Good afternoon Mdm', there are 3 kinds of responses singaporeans will give.
*notice the waiter nv say anything abt the food/cafe, eg 'Lunch for u Mdm' or 'Would u like to try our special Mdm?' why, cos some weird ppl really take offence when the waiter says this, dun really understand why oso.anw,the waiter is just trying to be nice n say hi, accompanied with a smile*
