Moshing is the act of pushing n joslting one another in crowd of people, especially at the high point of a rock concert.
Yest nite was my 1st experience.here's wad to do (or rather, here's wad i did :P )
- i took off my slippers and keep in my bag and moshed barefooted as i could feel my slippers coming off liao.haha.even those wearing shoes were nort spared.i found a shoe admist the mosh-pit n toss it into the crowd.haha.
- bags do get in the way.so dun bring unless absolutely necessary.do keep them in front of ya lest pickpockets kope ur stuff.
- to initiate moshing, do it when ppl start to get high n jump ard.when the music goes into a headbanging mood,just scream "YAAAAAAA~~" at the top of ur voice n the rest will follow.the rest is up to u to guess :P
- body surfing is illegal in sg.who cares?!haha.there were many who body-surfed and kena pulled down by mata.haha.damn funny.the best thing to do is to throw a small kid up n let him ride the waves.cos u dun expect the police to whack him rite? :P
so when u see a small kid, shout "SMALL KID!!" and frantically point at him.b4 u noe it, he'll be up n having a good time. ;)
- most imptly, when mata approach u with torchlight.raise hand in air and act innocent~Very Imtp.hahaha.
- do nort get irritated when u feel ppl hurling water or booze at ya.part of the game~ :P
lastly, if u do nort wanna take part in moshing, it is onli kind gesture to push the fella back into the mosh-pit n stay out ;)hahaha

whahaha.i managed to get all the way in front during Electrico performance.sibei song.i still rmb the day the lead singer dao mi when i approach him fer pics.but NVM.haha.
b4 the band took the stage, the crowd were pretty restless.chanting away.got one crazy fella going : "5566~!! F4~!! Boyzone~!!" :P damnnnn funny.den suddenly got "GO GO Power Rangers~!!" and the whole crowd burst out laughing.hahaa
anw,moshing once again with the throng of crowd~ :D it onli took barely a min to get things started.once the music starts, ppl will be jumping abt.and suddenly u'll get a damn push from behind n it's the signal to mosh liao.haha.damn tiring~~ bah.today wild man.the crowd were pushing back n forth n side to side.den got this mega mosh-pit behind me.there were like ppl forming a circle n pushing random crazy dudes within the circle.
haha.i onli managed to last 3-4 songs b4 taking a break.snapping pics of bodysurfers n the moshing crowd in the mean time.took some nice pics of the band oso.like taking promo pics liddat.haha.
i realised moshers got this common bond n frenship liddat.admist all the shoving n pushing, there are acts of bonding here n there.like how we suddenly hurl our arms across each other's shoulders n sway to the music.n how the moshers cooperate with each other to deal with security.one fella will give the 'time-out' sign to indicate tt security is coming and it's time to tone down.when the guards go away.it's Round 2~!! when a fella falls down.one fella will do the same 'time-out' sign n the rest ard him will follow n give room for the fella to pick himself up.haha.talk abt positive feedback.nice~
haha.after the partying,lucky i bring a clean shirt to change into.haha.
