kk.been to bintan over the weekends with family at this.stayed over at this wonderful resort known as Club Med~!! kick ass totally.
upon arrival at the resort, we're given a warm reception by the staff.man.i was quite amused when the brochure mentioned like 'enjoy ur stay at club med with the Chef de Village, Said (Mor) and his int'l GO team' international? bah.serious la.the admin staff over there are a funky bunch of international ppl.from maritius, south africa, singapore, indonesia, aust, europe etc.oh ya.jepun oso..bah.
realised tt club med is a international resort company.there got branches in france, maldives,bintan and other places.saw the pics of the branches during lunch as they were found all over the restaurant.when i tot i was lucky enough to visit the wonderful resort in bintan.i realised tt u will actually be staying in a palace if u visit their branch over in France...$^#&$%&^$%^&
mannnnnnnnnnnnn.this place is definitely the best resort i've been so far.quite sceptic abt wad a bintan resort might look like la.but man...there was a freaking clean beach and a sea tt spreads out to the horizon....kk.tell mi how often u see this type of thing being a stupid singaporean..the place is VERY well finished and VERY well maintained la.from the buildings, to the pool, to the restuarant, gardens etc.den every 20 steps or so, u can find a pavillon or chairs to just sit ard n view the sea n enjoy the breeze.the wind is sooooo cooling.
the food is Gorgerous.my first meal there was specially memorable.lemme recall.
1st helping - pasta and lotsa meat, lamp chop, chicken chop, steak, sausage
2nd helping - 3 types of pizza
3rd helping - rice and more meat n goodies.lamp chop n sausage is a must
4th helping - pastry galore
5th helping - ice-cream
ps lotsa orange juice (3-4 glasses) in btw
after which, i had much difficulty when it comes to burping to clear my throat.cos my tummy seriously cannort take it.no space to expand liao.haha.1st time having tt feeling.too full to burp.too full tt ur legs feel wobbly when u try to stand.
learnt my lesson, and cut down to 3 servings per meal during the subsequent meals.
gosh.the beach is soo nice.built sandcastles.dug a mega hole.jumping n smashing myself into the waves with dallas.haha.den played archery, bball, badminton, tennis and PING_PONG.hahaha.dallas n i spent like 2 hrs playing ping pong.b4 n after lunch.haha.making lotsa sounds n weird shrieks tt attracted much stares from the public.haha.but we're having one hell of a time tgt.haha.no to mention tt our skills improved tremendously after playing each other fer so long.haha.
oh ya.there was a freaking trepeze over there fer public use oso.bah.nort enough time to fully explore the whole place man.so sad.wish can spend more time over there...
